Every room in your home has a role to play. The kitchen carries your mornings. The living room holds your people. The basement becomes whatever your family needs it to be. We design each one with the same level of intention, because a home only works when every part of it does.

Your kitchen is the most used room in your home, which means it has to be the most resolved. We think about how you move through it in the morning, how it handles a dinner party, and how it holds up ten years from now. Materials are chosen for longevity, the layout is planned around how you actually use it, and hardware is installed to only get better with time.

Most basements are an afterthought, but we treat them as an opportunity. Whether it's a second living space, a kids' zone, a home bar, or all three, we bring the same level of intention that we bring to every room above grade. It feels like part of the home, not a bonus room someone threw together.

We design bathrooms the way we design everything else. How you actually move through the space matters, along with layering in materials that hold up to daily life. Vanities, tile, lighting, and storage are all chosen to work together, not just to look good in a photo. The goal is a bathroom that feels calm in the morning and helps end your day right.

How much does interior design cost?

Design fees are flat and scoped by space, quoted clearly in your proposal before anything begins. Small spaces start at $4,000 (think a powder room or small laundry room) & Large Spaces (kitchens, primary suites) typically run between $10,000-$15,000 in design fees.

What's your starting budget for projects?


For hiring an interior designer, it typically makes the most financial sense when design is about 10-12% of your overall budget. For example, a kitchen design fee is about $10,000-$15,000, which means your overall kitchen budget should range from $100,000-$150,000+. If your budget is under that, I highly recommend using that budget towards your project and not design. Reach out if you have questions, I'm happy to guide you!

How do you handle ordering and purchasing?

Procurement is available as an add-on to any project, not something every client is required to take. If you choose it, everything is ordered through my studio: every furniture piece, fixture, lighting, hardware, rug, and accessory. I place the orders, coordinate delivery, and handle any damages or issues so you never have to. I purchase at trade pricing and pass those savings to you, plus a coordination fee that covers the full process. You see both numbers, trade cost and final price, on every line item. Nothing is ordered until you've approved it. If you'd rather source and order on your own, that's completely fine too.

What does "full-service" actually mean?

Full Service is one of three ways to work with me, alongside Design Only and Design + Procurement. It means I handle everything: design, selections, ordering, project support during renovation and installation, all managed from start to finish. You're involved in decisions but you're never chasing vendors, managing deliveries, or playing middleman with your contractor. You show up for the fun parts. I handle the rest.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

I work with homeowners across a real range, from a single powder room to a full home renovation or new build. Every project gets the same level of care regardless of scope. If you're not sure whether your project is a fit, just reach out. I'll give you an honest answer.

Are you a design-build firm?

No — and that distinction matters. I'm an independent design firm. I work alongside a trusted network of contractors, but I'm never the builder, and my fee is never tied to construction costs. In a design-build firm, the contractor and designer share a business interest — which means the question being asked, often quietly, is what's easier to build, not what does this client actually need. Scope gets softened. Details get value-engineered. Your vision gets filtered through someone else's margins. My only obligation is to you. When I specify a material, recommend a contractor, or push back on a proposed shortcut, it's because it's right for your home — full stop.

I don't have my design vision figured out yet. Is that okay?

Completely normal, and honestly it's a better starting point than you'd think. You don't need a Pinterest board or a clear style in mind before reaching out. That's my job. I ask the right questions, listen to how you live, and translate that into a design direction. You just need to know you want your home to feel different than it does now.

Will I have a say in the decisions?

Every step of the way. Full-service doesn't mean I disappear and surprise you at the end, it means I guide the process so you're never overwhelmed by it. You approve every selection before anything is ordered, and I present options at each milestone so decisions feel easy, not stressful. You stay in control without having to manage anything.

can i work with my own builder?

Absolutely! We want you to feel comfortable with the builder you hire for your home. We are happy to work with your builder, and we also have referrals if you need more estimates.

I've worked with a designer before and it didn't go well.

I hear this more than you'd think. Unclear pricing, slow communication, a design that felt more like the designer's taste than yours — these are common frustrations and they're exactly what I built my process around avoiding. Fees are transparent before you commit. Communication is consistent throughout. The design process is collaborative so you have a say in every aspect. And the design always starts with how you actually live, not what I want to put in a portfolio.

What's the first step?

Fill out the contact form and tell me about your project. If it sounds like a good fit, I'll send you my investment guide, which walks through the full process, pricing, and deliverables, and invite you to book an initial consultation.

How soon can you start?

I take on a limited number of projects per month so every client gets my full attention. If your timeline is coming up, it's worth reaching out sooner rather than later. You want to allow plenty of time for my waitlist, our meeting, design, and time to order items. Typically 6 months before you want your project to begin for one-two room renovations and longer for larger renovations.

Do I need to have a contractor already?

No. I work with a trusted network of contractors and can make introductions once the design is underway. If you already have a contractor you love, I'm happy to work alongside them.

whats included in the design fee?

We design your space from top to bottom and document every aspect. From the concepts and mood boards, to the space planning, cabinetry design, to the technical elevations, to the spec sheets organized for easy ordering, to budget summaries, 3D renderings, and 3D walkthroughs of your final space - all wrapped up in an exciting and collaborative process.

How long does a project typically take?

Design-only projects, where you handle execution yourself, typically wrap in a matter 4-6 weeks for one space. Renovations typically run several months for design then execution and new builds tend to go several months to over a year depending on scope and your builder's schedule. Furnishing projects generally take a few months because quality pieces take time to produce and ship. I give you a projected timeline during the proposal phase for design and keep you updated throughout.
